Commercial Water Rates Increase

Dear Commericial Customer,
The District is implementing changes to its Rate Structure as recommended in the water rate study completed in 2021 by Pioneer Consulting Group Inc. These measures are in response to the Districts New Water Withdrawal Permit issued by the Department of Environmental Protection, to have the base operational budget covered by water usage fees and relieve some of that burden from the water tax rate.
The new rates, fees and billing structure is on the reverse side of this letter. Please keep this notice for future reference. The information will also be posted on the Districts website.

The New Commercial rates will be as follows:
For the billing cycle July 2021 - June 2022
Step 1 will be $1.42 per 1,000 gallons of water used 0 - 10,000 gallons
Step 2 will be $5.12 per 1,000 gallons of water used 10,001 - 25,000 gallons
Step 3 will be $7.78 per 1,000 gallons of water used Over 25,000 gallons

Step 1 will be $1.46 per 1,000 gallons of water used 0 - 10,000 gallons
Step 2 will be $5.38 per 1,000 gallons of water used 10,001 - 25,000 gallons
Step 3 will be $8.17 per 1,000 gallons of water used Over 25,000 gallons
