The District will limit nonessential outdoor water use through mandatory restrictions from May 1st through September 30th. All summer outdoor water use, should take place before 9 am and after 5 pm when evaporation and evapotranspiration rates are lower. The number of days allowed will be determined based on the previous years Annual Statistical Report information pertaining to residential gallons per capita day and un-accounted for water. (1 or 2 days per week) Other factors could be a cause for tighter restrictions. The District can impose tighter restrictions than is called for in the new withdrawal permit.
